About

Lillian “Lilly” Sweeney is a Springfield native. She graduated from the University of Missouri, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Art History in 2010 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law in 2020. During law school, she served as a representative in the Student Bar Association, and on the boards of the Women’s Law Association, Tax and Transactional Society, Association of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. She helped small and start-up business clients through her participation in the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. Ms. Sweeney was a member of the Business, Entrepreneurship & Tax Review. During law school, she worked for a renewable energy and efficiency non-profit in Columbia, Mo, and as a teaching assistant at the law school for legal research and writing, as well as negotiation. Prior to joining the firm upon graduation in 2020, she worked as a law clerk for the City of Springfield and as a summer associate for Neale & Newman.
